Provides pixel-based NRT information about ice presence in European rivers and lakes as defined by the annual water mask of the previous hydrological year and is based on data from Sentinel-1 and/or Sentinel-2. The data are available in 20 m and 60 m spatial resolution with the temporal extent from April 2025 to present.
On a daily basis, classifies pixels of Continental Europe freshwater bodies as 1) Fully snow-covered ice, 2) Partially snow-covered or snow-free ice, and 3) Open water. The data is available in near real time in a spatial resolution of 250 m and with the temporal extent from July the 1st, onwards. In June 2024, the data input sensor was transferred from Terra MODIS (VERSION 1.2.1) to NOAA-20 VIIRS (VERSION 2.2.1), and the area was extended from the Baltic region to cover Continental Europe.
Provides at pan-European level one cloud-free very high resolution optical coverage for the 2021 reference year, acquired within predefined windows corresponding to the vegetation season in 2020-2021-2022. The very high resolution images are obtained from various missions and have a spatial resolution from 2 m to maximum 4 m.
Provides semi-continuous observations for a large number of medium and large-sized lakes. 10-daily observations are available in near real time at 300 m spatial resolution from September 2024 to present.
Provides InSAR displacement data provided in the satellite Line-of-Sight, with annotated geo-localisation and quality measures per measurement point. The dataset is generated from the interferometric analysis of Sentinel-1 radar images at full resolution (20x5 m). EGMS Basic is visualised as a vector map of measurement points colour-coded by average line-of-sight velocity and distributed to users in comma-separated values format. Each point is associated with a time series of displacement, i.e. a plot with values of displacement per acquisition of the satellite. The dataset is generated for both ascending and descending orbits.
Provides a pan-European spatially consistent and seamless, detailed land cover inventory for the 2021 reference year, for each pixel showing the dominant land cover among the 11 basic land cover classes. The dataset is available as 10 m raster.
Maps burn scars, surfaces which have been sufficiently affected by fire to display significant changes in the vegetation cover (destruction of dry material, reduction or loss of green material) and in the ground surface (temporarily darker because of ash). Daily datasets are available at global scale, in the spatial resolution of 300 m, and within 24 hours after the satellite acquisition. They cover the period from July 2023 to present.
Provides a pan-European spatially consistent and seamless, detailed land cover inventory for the 2018 reference year, for each pixel showing the dominant land cover among the 11 basic land cover classes. The dataset is available as 10 m raster.
Provides the maximum (peak) value that the Plant Phenology Index reaches during the vegetation growing season. The data at global level are updated in the first quarter of each year. The data are available from 2023 to the present at about 300 m spatial resolution.
Provides the rate of change in the values of the Plant Phenology Index at the day when the vegetation growing season starts. The data at global level are updated in the first quarter of each year. The data are available from 2023 to the present at about 300 m spatial resolution.
