The production and dissemination of these pan-European High Resolution Snow products starts as provided below:

• Fractional Snow Cover – NRT product, updated version:
  The production started in mid-January 2025 and the dissemination started in June 2025 through S3 buckets via a Python script. Please find the instructions here.
  The archive reprocessing of the previous version (September 2016 – January 2025) will begin in January 2026. Updated products will be systematically added to the CDSE until September 2026.

• Gap-filled Fractional Snow Cover – NRT product, updated version:

  New product based on Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2 data, will include information on Snow Cover Duration (will replace the Persistent Snow Area), Snow Cover Onset, Snow Cover Melt out. First dataset (2024/2025) available from January 2026 through CDSE. The dissemination of all layers will be finalized in August 2026.

• Snow Phenology S2 - yearly product:
